KELSEY BONCATO

Kelsey Boncato is a Filipina American artist and animator based in LA who works in video, drawing, and sculpture. Her recent work presents phenomenological relationships and possibilities questioning the control of identity, time, and nature. Recipient of the 2016 Discovery Scholar Prize, she holds a B.A. in Art from the University of Southern California with an emphasis in intermedia and printmaking. Under the moniker Kelady, her work expands with music and performance through indie hip-hop/dance.
